Meet Our New Field CTOs

We are excited to welcome three seasoned professionals as Field CTOs, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles:

  • Lance Mohring: Lance has over 25 years of experience in technology and business leadership. He has worked in start-ups, scale-ups, SMBs, and enterprise organizations. Lance has also managed private and public companies and founded 2 startups with successful exits. He has led the development of complex and varied software product and service projects for a wide range of companies, including Microsoft, Nintendo, GM, Daimler-Chrysler, Western University, Avista Energy, Voicestream (TMobile),  LookSmart, and The Yellow Pages Group. His passion for innovation and client success makes him a valuable asset to our team.
  • Rich Waller: Rich has over 35 years experience in engineering, product innovation and leadership, large digital transformational programs, consulting, and technology leadership. He has worked for a defense contractor, big-5 consulting company (CTO), 2nd largest global P&C insurance provider (CTO), and Microsoft (CTO). While at Microsoft he led the programmatic pursuit and solutioning of the largest, most complex customers in his role as Central Region CTO Services. His industry experience cuts across BFSI, Mfg., Healthcare/Life Sciences, Aviation/Transportation, and others. Most of Rich’s focus for the last 20+ years has been driving business value enabled by technology advancements in Applications and Data/AI.
  • Scott Young: With over 25 years of combined business and technical acumen, Scott Young serves as Field CTO, specializing in 3Pillar’s healthcare portfolio. He guides clients in leveraging technology to address the most pressing challenges within the healthcare sector, offering invaluable insights. Scott leads engagements from the outset, navigating problem discovery and solution design with finesse. His unwavering commitment to efficiency and value ensures cost control while facilitating the development of solutions that are both technically groundbreaking and financially viable.
